Board of Trustees

This year, there are 3 contested seats:

Zone 1 Candidates: Tarie Zimmerman, Ronald Hartman

Zone 2 Candidates: Brad Corkill, Diana Sheridan

Helo Hancock

Chief Executive Officer
Beacon clinic

Helo Hancock is the Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Clinic (formerly known as Beacon Cancer Care), a position he has held since early 2022.  Helo has over 15 years of senior leadership experience including over a decade of serving on a diverse selection of corporate and nonprofit boards. Prior to accepting the role at Beacon, Helo served as the CEO of Marimn Health for over 5 years.

Prior to entering healthcare, Helo worked as an attorney and lobbyist where he focused on large scale political, gaming and natural resource issues. Helo earned a BA degree from the University of Utah and a law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family as well as hunting, fishing, and running.

Tyrel Stevenson

Legislative Director for the Coeur d’Alene TribE

Tyrel Stevenson serves as the Legislative Director for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, managing government affairs and public relations for the Tribal Government.  

Previously, he represented the Tribe in the In-House Legal Office in a wide array of practice areas, including real estate, employment matters, government operations, grant management, environmental issues and litigation.

 He has served on the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for several years and has been closely involved in state and local government issues.
